Mt. St. Helens - 45th Anniversary Program

Join us on May 10th to hear David Newcomb recount the events leading up to the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. David will include the surprising “return to life” of animals and plants in the blast zone. He will update the status of conditions within the monument. Newcomb is a volunteer with the Mt. St. Helens Institute.

Come view the “Bread Crust Bomb” blown from the mountain in 1980. The museum will have several photo collections, news accounts, and other memorabilia for guests to view. Bring your personal stories to be included in the museum archives
