38th Annual Community Celebration Honoring Veterans
The annual event is co-hosted by North Clark Historical Museum and Mt. Valley Grange #79. The event will be held at the Mt. Valley Grange Hall, 40107 NE 221st Ave., Amboy. A Pie and Ice Cream Social (1:00pm) is followed by a program that honors all veterans. A Patriotic Quilt, made and donated by the Chelatchie Quilters, can only be won by a veteran. There is a speaker and entertainment. The winner of the North Clark Historical Museum Raffle Quilt is drawn, and the winners of Door Prizes donated by the Museum are drawn. The evening ends with a lively Pie Auction. Proceeds from the Pie & Ice Cream Social and the pie auction benefit Mt. Valley Grange #79. Proceeds from the raffle quilt and door prizes benefit North Clark Historical Museum.

Early Pioneer Men Exhibit
Join us for a special program on September 27th when we feature men who settled in the area before 1900. Featured will be Amos Ball, Edgar Rotschy, John and Charles Frasier, Hein Kulper, C. C. Landon, and Chester Moore. The exhibit will contain highlights of their lives and how they came to North Clark County. During the program you will hear stories of their lives and personal recollections from their descendants.
The program starts at 2:pm.
There will also be a Blacksmith demonstration by Ben Brown and Antique Engine Display by Bud Conin, Saturday 12:00-4:00pm.

25th Anniversary of Museum opening
Where Did 25 Years Go? On June 14th we will celebrate the silver anniversary of the official opening of the museum. The event will include blacksmith demonstrations, a high- lead logging exhibit, stitchery projects, a spinning demonstration and more. Music will be provided by Wayne Hoffman and Mollie Hart. Refreshments served.

Join us on May 10th to hear David Newcomb recount the events leading up to the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. David will include the surprising “return to life” of animals and plants in the blast zone. He will update the status of conditions within the monument. Newcomb is a volunteer with the Mt. St. Helens Institute.
Come view the “Bread Crust Bomb” blown from the mountain in 1980. The museum will have several photo collections, news accounts, and other memorabilia for guests to view. Bring your personal stories to be included in the museum archives.
